SCHOOL PROFILE

Stanhope Primary School is focussed on our students being active members of the global  community. Our students are empowered to be lifelong learners through the influence of our four key values underpinning all aspects of our school life. We are proactive in developing positive community connections and enjoy the support of a range of community and other organisations. Our core school values centre around Lifelong Learning and encompass Learning, Success, Respect and Citizenship. We employ the Positive Behaviour System and a restorative practices approach to relationships within the school and encourage the ability to be resilient in the face of challenge.  We are focussed on improving student outcomes through high quality, explicit teaching and learning strategies. All classrooms have access to computers and other devices and their use is embedded into our daily curriculum.  Staff, students and families are becoming more proficient users of technology for learning and engage in a range of activities that develop global citizenship. Transition occurs at all stages across the school including Kindergarten and Year 6 to 7. Our year 6 transition program prepares our students for secondary school life and celebrates student achievement with a graduation ceremony.  In 2024, we will have 12 students enrolled.
